Why should I care?

Why? Well, maybe you shouldn't. :) For those who read and listen to audiobooks. For those who really enjoy a good story and want more. I write because I'm one of those people. Those who will spend two hours listening to an audiobook while making dinner for their kids. Those people who fall asleep to a really good story and find themselves smiling into their pillow when they sure as Hell know they should be asleep. Those people who pick up a paperback and after a week, find a dozen places where they bend over the page to keep their place - and keep coming back - leaving it on their nightstand for the next evening. Those are the folks that I can relate to. Those that I feel a kinship to. Those that (secretly) wonder why the author did this and that and wish for something just a bit different.

That's why I write.

To create a great story and have the chops to put it into narrative form. To see if I really do have that talent.

Yea. That's why I write.

:) Didn't mean to get too personal. Just the facts.
